Well, I've done it! I saw a small lovey/comfort object thing in a store and was inspired to take the idea to a full size blanket for my up and coming niece.

My nephew's visit

First design contest!

As a knitter, I tend to stick to hats...they finish up relatively quickly and they're the perfect small scale for trying out new stitches. When I came upon the 1000 Fabulous Knit Hats contest, I couldn't wait to get started...until, I realized my only modeling/photographer help would be my clueless boyfriend. This is the boyfriend who tells me I look beautiful all the time, then when I look at them, the angle's all wrong, or you can't even properly see the hat! After some tutoring and some photoshopping, I have some pictures that will work. I hope! *fingers crossed*
